FABTECH is the largest exhibition in the field of metal sheet and tube processing in North America. It started in 1981 and is hosted by the Precision Metal Forming Association (PMA), the Sheet Metal Fabrication Association (FMA), the American Welding Society (AWS), the Surface Treatment Association (CCAI), and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Held annually, it can be said that it has witnessed the development history of the American metal forming industry.
MISA WELDING has been invited to participate in FABTECH 2025, which will be held in Chicago, USA from September 8th to September 11th. MISA WELDING will be waiting for your visit at booth B15092.
The exhibits cover sheet, pipe, wire and profile processing technology and equipment, including stamping equipment, plate rolling and bending equipment, laser cutting and welding equipment, plasma and water jet cutting equipment, pipe bending equipment, pipe hydraulic forming equipment, roll forming equipment, sawing equipment, welding connection equipment, surface treatment equipment, as well as tools and dies, raw materials, control systems, safety equipment, computer-aided software, automation devices and robots.
FABTECH 2024 was held in Orlando, the United States, with more than 1,500 exhibitors. According to the author's rough statistics, there were nearly 150 Chinese exhibitors participating in this exhibition, which is close to 10% of the total number of exhibitors. Among them, there are about 60 to 70 Chinese exhibitors in the sheet, pipe, profile, wire cutting and forming category (i.e. stamping, sheet metal and production), mainly distributed in the north and south pavilions (hereinafter referred to as the "forming pavilion"), and there are about 70 to 80 Chinese exhibitors in the welding connection and spraying and painting category, mainly distributed in the west pavilion.
As one of the world's largest economies, the United States' manufacturing industry, especially the metal processing, forming and welding industries, occupies an important position. With technological advances and increased automation, the country's demand for efficient and intelligent manufacturing equipment continues to grow. In addition, stricter environmental regulations have also prompted companies to invest in cleaner and energy-saving technologies. In recent years, 3D printing, robotics and intelligent manufacturing systems have been increasingly used in the US manufacturing industry, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industry and providing exhibitors with an ideal platform to showcase their latest products and services.
