Brazil is developing rapidly and playing an important role in the international market. This year, the GNP (gross national product) is planned to grow by at least 5%, and the machinery and equipment industry has become one of the important factors for rapid economic development. Under the good economic situation, the exchange rate is more conducive to the revitalization and development of imports and the machinery industry. In today's international market, the other members of BRIC (BRIC): China and India occupy a dominant position. Therefore, imports and the machinery industry are both key factors in improving Brazil's productivity and enhancing its international competitiveness. Brazil has a population of 182 million and a GNP of 1.803 trillion US dollars, accounting for more than half of Latin America's GDP. In addition, its economic modernization has gradually intensified. Brazil has become one of the largest investment destinations and one of the largest machine tool markets in the world.
In recent years, the Brazilian government has made major adjustments to its import and export policies. Abandoning protectionism that restricts imports with high tariffs, it rewards and subsidizes exports, encourages the improvement of product quality and strengthens the export competition mechanism, and announces the opening of the market and the reduction of import tariffs on 5,000 commodities. With the government's financial support and encouragement for potential machinery exporters, Brazilian industry is actively investing in development and innovation, ready to meet new challenges brought by the economy.
